Children are the most vulnerable members of society, and one of the primary focuses of charitable giving by the Alaska USA Foundation. Each year, the Alaska USA Foundation donates more than $100,000 to non-profits that perform a range of services for children, including medical care, food programs, head-start programs, and financial education.
As long as individuals continue to make sacrifices for the sake of defending our nation, Alaska USA Foundation will strive to help veterans. Funding is provided each year to help veterans to obtain access and connections that assist them with legal aid, medical care, educational endeavors, financial assistance and many more services.
The challenges faced by members of the military and their families while defending our nation are immense. Donated funds are used to build more resilient military families, provide services to alleviate stress through a network of support, and provide activities to acknowledge service men and women and their families.
Hunger is one of the most prominent issues in all of the communities we serve. Through the annual food drive fundraiser, the Alaska USA Foundation has been able to collect and distribute hundreds of thousands of dollars to local food bank and pantries leading to more than 500,000 meals being dispersed in our communities.
